Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel in Hurgada and start our tour to Luxor.
We will visit the Karnak Temple, which was dedicated to the god Amun, with its avenue of sphinxes that used to cover the whole way between Karnak and Luxor temples.
Then we drive over the Nile to the west bank to visit the Colossi of Memnon, the only remnants of the temple of Amenhotep III from the 18th Dynasty, built around 1350 BC. Each statue is more than 19 meters high.
We will have our lunch in a set menu buffet, later we will visit the Valley of the Queens, where the tombs of the Egyptian queens and young princes are.
Then we visit the glorious mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman who ruled Egypt in the time of the pharaohs.
Afterwards you will have a free tour in the city of Luxor where you can maybe buy some souvenirs or take a boat trip with the so called (Feluka) boat to the banana island (not included in the price; to be paid extra).
Then it goes back to Hurgada with our bus and you will be brought back to your hotel.
• Note: You can choose to visit the Valley of the Kings instead of the Valley of the Queens for an extra $ 10 per person.
